Armando José Gomes Abrantes-Ferreira (Student Member, IEEE) was born in Sousa, Paraíba, Brazil in 1993. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil in 2017 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2019. He was an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at CEFET-RJ, Campus Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 2020 to 2022. Since 2022 he is working toward the Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Campina Grande. Currently, he is a Guest PhD Student at Aalborg University, AAU Energy, eGRID research group, supervised by Xiongfei Wang and his group. His current research interest include: Grid Integration of Variable Renewable Energy Resources, Voltage-Source Converter Modelling and Control, Grid-Forming Control, Power Systems Modelling, Dynamics and Control, Energy Storage Systems, Synchronization Phenomena in Complex Systems and Nonlinear Control.
