Notes on phenology, conservation assessment and typification in Primula
atrodentata W.W.Sm. (Primulaceae) from Himalayas
Abstract
The flowering phenology of P. atrodentata in the Himalayan area was
examined to determine their trends. Historic data from herbarium
specimens during the last century indicate that the blooming period in
P. atrodentata has advanced by 16 ± 9.02 days, compared to its typical
flowering time. In the meantime, P. atrodentata has been classified as
Near Threatened. Furthermore, lectotypes have been assigned to the names
in accordance with the regulations outlined in the International Code of
Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants to establish the correct
application of the name.
