Conclusion :
The lentiform fork sign is a pathognomonic MRI finding for uremic
encephalopthay, especially when it’s associated with extrapyramidal
movements. It is of great importance to recognize and treat movement
disorders in patients with ESRD and dialysis, and physicians should keep
in mind the effect of metabolic disturbances on the neurotransmitters of
the brain, and must always consider the adverse reaction of the
prescribed drugs (such as haloperidol) and their impact on their
patients.
