Abstract

This article examines the impact of digital health on the management of infectious diseases, focusing on lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights the rapid expansion of telemedicine and virtual consultations, as well as the crucial role of contact tracing applications in containing the spread of the virus. Additionally, it analyzes the use of big data and predictive analytics to understand and predict the dynamics of the pandemic. Future challenges and opportunities in the implementation of digital health solutions, as well as the importance of public education and awareness, are discussed.
