Space physicist, specializing in energetic particle interactions with matter -- sensor response, shielding, secondary particles, etc. Extensive experience with Geant4 open-source Monte Carlo radiation transport toolkit. Major involvement in calibration of and analysis of data from sensors aboard SAMPEX, Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, Van Allen Probes. Topics of study include solar, geomagnetically-trapped, cosmic-ray, and "albedo" (energetic secondary) particles.
