Marta Filipa Simões currently works at the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences/月球與行星科學國家重點實驗室, Macau University of Science and Technology/澳門科技大學. Marta does research in Astrobiology, Astromycology, and Microbiology, with a focus on Applied Mycology. Her current projects include research on: fungal ecology and biodiversity in environmental analogues to outer-space conditions; fungal bioprospection, application, and growth containment.
