Left atrial ball thrombus is a rare complication of rheumatic mitral
stenosis. We report on a patient with a left atrial ball thrombus
combined with rheumatic mitral stenosis, which was detected during
echocardiographic in the context of an etiological assessment of an
ischemic stroke
