I'm the Regional Hydrologist for the US Forest Service-Pacific Northwest Region, which comprises 17 national forests in Oregon and Washington. Since 2006, I've been implementing programs and strategies to protect and restore the Region’s water resources and aquatic ecosystems, managing data collection and analysis to support these objectives, and educating the public about forests and water. I previously served in a similar capacity in the Pacific Southwest Region, which includes 18 national forests in California. My work in developing watershed strategies that bridge research and application have earned me national awards from three Forest Service Chiefs. I began serving as a member of the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board in 2024. I hold a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. in Hydrology from Stanford University.
