I got my Master 2 (Laura Specialistica) Degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Pisa in 2008 and my PhD in Physics and Control Theory from the University Paris Sud 11 in 2012. Since then I have been post-doc in different places (University of Liege, INRIA Lille-Nord Europe, University of Cambridge) but always working at the edge between Control Theory and Neuroscience. Recently, I started to extend my application fields to collective decision making in animal groups and to biomorphic circuit design. My collaborators are based in University of Cambridge, Brandeis University, CINVESTAV Mexico DF, University of Liege, and Princeton University. Since April 2015, I am Professor of Biomathematics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
