I have graduated from the „Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj Napoca, Romania and completed my training in specialty of Pediatrics at University Hospital of Patra, Greece. I have been awarded with a research fellowship at Department of Respiratory Medicine, Imperial College London, where I expertized in different laboratory techniques. Also, I was Honorary Clinical Fellow at Pediatric Allergy Department, St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London and have a master’s degree in Allergology from Imperial College. I have successfully passed the Knowledge Examination of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) being awarded with the Certificate of Excellence in Allergology and Clinical Immunology and European Paidatric Allergist. I am member of different professional societies: Greek Pediatric Allergy Society (GPAS), Romanian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology and EAACI. Furthermore, I serve as treasurer of GPAS and as board member of Allied Health & Primary Care Section of EAACI. Also, I have an Advanced Telehealth Coordinator Certificate from University of Delaware and a certificate from Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition of Boston University School of Medicine. Currently I am Consultant Pediatrician Allergist, head of Pediatric Department, General Hospital of Amaliada and head of Outpatient Pediatric Allergy Clinic, Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital, Patras, Greece.
