I, am a statistician in Program on Emerging Infections (PEI), International Centre for Diarrhea Diseases Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) since 2010. Before joining PEI, I had social and public health research experience from the Centre for Communicable Diseases (CCD), icddr,b. I have over ten years’ experience in the study design, data management and statistical analysis of large observational and randomized clinical trial studies including survey, longitudinal, cluster RCT data, multi-level and survival data. Notably, my key interest is in Epidemiological research. I have been facilitated statistical software (R, STATA, Python and SPSS) trainings or workshops for more than 100 Bangladeshi young researchers. Currently I engage in epidemiological six funded research studies, statistical training and five developing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journal articles. My research assistance in Sanitation, Hygiene education, Water Supply, childhood nutrition, respiratory infection, influenza and vaccination has influenced key areas of Bangladesh government policy.
