Jaime Martínez-Valderrama is a PhD Engineer in Agriculture Engineering specialized in Desertification and Global Change with 20 years of experience in drylands: Southern Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. Since 2019 he has been working as a postdoc at the University of Alicante. He has participated in more than 20 research projects and has several publications in high impact journals. His main experience is related to the use of system dynamics models in the study of groundwater and rangelands.
