Carolina Gainza is PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pittsburgh, Sociologist and MA in Latin American Studies from the University of Chile. Currently, she works as assistant professor at the Escuela de Literatura Creativa, Universidad Diego Portales (Santiago, Chile), and is the editor in chief of Revista Laboratorio (revistalaboratorio.udp.cl). Her main research interests are related to digital culture and digital literature in Latin America, cultural studies, postproduction, posthumanism, and networks and subjectivities in the digital era. She is currently doing research on digital culture in Chile, focusing on music, cinema and literature (culturadigitalchile.cl)
