We present a case in which lung Ultrasound was relevant to reach an early diagnosis of lung tuberculosis and to manage the patient in the right setting. Moreover, ultrasound allowed to detect and treat massive pleural effusion through an ultrasound-guided thoracentesis.

Miliaria crystallina is a benign skin condition that follows intense sweating due to excessive exposure to heat, hyperthermia, or humidity. Therefore, it is often observed in intensive care patients, who usually meet these conditions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple skin manifestations have been described. These include an urticarial rash, morbilliform rash, maculopapular rash, vascular lesions, and varicella-like eruptions. A 30-year-old woman presented with a mild cough, then hives and pruritic rash for 3 days, followed by fever, dyspepsia, and throat pain for one day.

The complexity of acne often makes combination therapy highly beneficial. We here show that combining FLE with low-dose isotretinoin or tetracycline leads to clearance of acne without significant adverse effects.

We present clinical cases of ALS, accompanied by hydromyelia, where we tried to find out the causes of the cavities and its connection with the disease. Usually, MRI does not reveal any spinal cord alterations in ALS patients. We did not find any observable cause for cavity formation.

Introduction:Primary Sjögren’s syndrome(pSS) is an idiopathic, autoimmune disorder characterized by both localized and systemic manifestations. The most common clinical presentations include the “sicca” or “dryness” symptoms such as xerostomia and keratoconjunctivitis sicca due to diminished salivary gland and lacrimal gland function, respectively. Patients may also present with nonspecific symptoms such as fatigue and arthralgia, as well as pulmonary, gastrointestinal, neurological and renal involvement.1 Secondary Sjogren’s syndrome can coexist with other autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). 2According to literature, ocular signs and symptoms in pSS range from foreign body sensations, punctate or filamentous keratitis, to overt seborrheic blepharitis and eyelid swelling is reported to be rare.3 We report an usual/rare presentation of Sjogren’s syndrome in which the patient developed severe evolving mechanical ptosis and eyelid swelling to the extent that it impaired her ability to lift open her eyes and see, along with a positive anti-acetylcholine receptor antibody test.

Objective: To review a case of acute urticaria, and to explore the links this presentation shares with hyperthyroidism and anti-thyroid medications, along with management strategies for patients presenting with new-onset urticaria and pre-existing thyroid disease. This report describes a case of 45 years old male patient who tested positive for COVID-19 presented to the emergency department on March 2021 complaining of fever, cough, runny nose, and shortness of breath.
