Various causes of Recurrent Acute pancreatitis have been identified in the past. This report presents a novel case of “recurrent” acute pancreatitis in the setting of superior mesenteric artery syndrome (SMAS). Thus, highlighting SMAS as a rare yet possible cause of recurrent pancreatitis facilitating early diagnosis and prompt treatment.

Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms is a quite unusual condition related to drug reaction. A case report of sulfasalazine-induced liver failure is described. The patient was submitted to liver transplantation. Liver transplantation is an option when DRESS is associated with acute liver failure, but the prognosis remains poor.

An association has been reported between BP and DPP-4 inhibitors. We report three cases of DPP-4 inhibitor-associated BP, with an unfavorable course in 2 patients despite discontinuation of these drugs. Therefore, clinicians should pay close attention to the clinical course of DPP-4 inhibitor-associated BP, even after withdrawal of these drugs.

In our case of a 47-year-old-man presenting with quadriparesis, MRI demonstrated bilateral pontine infarct. A year after mechanical thrombectomy, he was fully ambulant.

Phantom pain (PhP)is reported by patients after limb amputation due to trauma or chronic diseases. We report the case of successful PhP treatment with pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) of the femoral and sciatic nerve. (PRF) reduced the intensity of pain for one year, improving the quality of life of the patient.

Behcet’s disease (BD) is a vasculitis of unknown aetiology that is reported to accompany autoimmune diseases. We report a rare case of BD, Addison’s disease, Hashimoto’s disease, and subclinical coeliac disease all occurring in one patient which has not previously been reported.

Eosinophilic gastroenteritis (EG) can easily be misdiagnosed. We present the case of a man with abdominal pain who was EG but misdiagnosed with cholelithiasis. This case highlights the need to consider EG in the differential diagnosis of abdominal pain since a favorable result can be achieved with timely treatment.
