Herein, we report an unusual case of metallic foreign body consisting of blades of scissors in the maxillary sinus for about 40 years. Even though there are potential risk for sinus infection, not all retained foreign body require prompt removal.

Methods This prospective observational study included 44 patients who underwent isolated ASD closures in the department of cardiac surgery at the National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute (NHFH & RI) from July 2014 to June 2016. We report the case of a man affected by atopic dermatitis on dupilumab. During the treatment, the patient showed a worsening of head and neck dermatitis. Blue light irradiation is a safe and efficacy tool for head and neck dermatitis persisting or developed during therapy with dupilumab.

Here we present a case of human psittacosis mimicing acute monocytic leukemia which demonstrates an extraordinary clinical presentation of psittacosis.
