Point 1 - Vernacular ArchitectureVernacular architecture is the local architecture, that has evolved using materials and strategies in function of the enviroment. It is characterized by constructions based on tradition and community knowledge using local materials and strategies to temperer (if necessary) climate hostilities . One of the most iconic example are the igloos of the Eskimos.

Introduction This time our task was to make a research of climatic data for two particular places in two different climatic zones. The first one is the New York city in USA and the second one is Abu-Dhabi in UAE. They are totally different cases that's why it can be very useful and interesting way to make a comparison of theirs climates. On the map below we can see the geographical position on them.

IntroductionClimate Analysis+Vernacular architectureThe following paper studies the relationship between climatic conditions and the development of building strategies that properly respond and manage interior comfort. Considering two cities as cases to study: Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Sapporo (Japan), this document will portrait both climates by analyzing weather information \cite{data} in order to understand the changing cycles of temperature, radiation, relative humidity and how they correlate with each other. 

        Today, vernacular architecture is known as heritage to us from our ancestors who did not have architecture education; they used architecture elements to create some of thier beliefs and thoughts as buildings which reflect human life, nature, history, beliefs and adaptability of our ancestors, today. Vernacular architecture is the tendency to idealism through time, reflecting human nature and lifestyle; leaving time, creates the idealism we seek in every period that it is created; adapting human lifestyle and nature.
