Abstract

• A low cost system to observe ionospheric scintillations using a software defined radio (SDR) is described. • A method to subtract RFI from scintillation measurements using frequency differencing is presented. • Analysis of a scintillation patch and a few instances of relatively rare daytime scintillations are also reported.
