Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in a patient with Human
Immunodeficiency virus
Abstract
Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a rare and aggressive
disease that presents similar to septic shock which often goes
misdiagnosed. Treatment options include immunosuppressive and
chemotherapy options with ultimate treatment being stem cell
transplantation. Here we present a case of HLH in a patient with HIV.
